Welcome to Marifield Manor

The Grand Edwardian Manor built in 1912 and originally called Knockdrin, still stands on it’s bluff, in a peaceful wooded subdivision and is now known as Marifield Manor. The opulent Manor, once surrounded by over 100 acres built by Colonel Eardley-Wilmot is now a 7 room Inn. The view of the lake from the Verandah, filled in by trees over the years, has been replaced by an equally impressive view of a beautifully landscaped hillside garden. Guests describe it as romantic, serene, & charming.  Just 40 minutes from Victoria in British Columbia’s newest wine region and 5 minutes from the beautifully rebuilt Kinsol trestle and Trans Canada Trail, you’ll find a luxurious retreat unlike anything you’ve experienced before.

Your hosts, Jocelyn and Mitch Williams are long time residents of Vancouver Island with a passion for fine food and travel. As in 1912 when an invitation to the manor was a sought after event, a warm welcome awaits you.
