Marifield Manor is located at the north end of Shawnigan Lake, a short stroll from the prestigious Shawnigan private school. This location is a 4 min drive from the Shawnigan Village and offers close access to to south Vancouver Island’s most popular fresh water sports destinations, Shawnigan Lake. A 40 minute drive south is the provincial Capital, Victoria. Surrounded by the ocean and protected by the Olympic mountains this thriving city is renown for its mild climate and inviting Victorian charm. It is known worldwide as the Garden City of Canada.

Minutes to the north of us is the Cowichan Valley which in the local first nations language means warm land. With rich fertile soil warmed over a long growing season, the Cowichan Valley is emerging as a gastronomic hot bed, where farm fresh meats, cheeses, vegetables and fruits can be sampled all year round. The local soil is also renowned for producing fine wine grapes which support and equally impressive number of Cowichan based wineries. The entire South Island, from the most rugged coastline to the ultimate in refined food and wine destinations, lends itself to exploration. Be it cycling, kayaking, hiking or a day trips in the car, there are endless destinations that await you.
